Painting done in the landscape in a free brushy style. The portajohn sits proudly in the foreground because its such a great color and shape too! But what really brought me outside to paint was the sky. There are such great views of the sunsets here, right in my front yard. I’m training myself to have my paints out and be ready because there’s a small window of time to lay down the paint. I take pictures sometimes, and try to paint from the photos. But theres nothing like painting from the real deal.
